I tried to shoot the wax sculptures as if they were real people. My goal was to shoot them as portraits, in the same way I may shoot the actors themselves.

Holly and I decided we needed to get a way for a weekend, so we booked a cabin in Branson, MO. The place is like being in the twilight zone...or a scene from Deliverance...but the road trip was cool, and we stopped for a tour of the St. James Winery. These images are from one of the only activities in Branson that didn't include country music and sequins. Cue the banjos...
