Brother B&W Cont' | St. Louis

Stills from the video shoot we filmed a couple days ago. I pushed the dynamic range to it's breaking point and allowed for heavy shadows in the style of Greg Gorman. I really like the gritty realism the process produced.

These two shots were taken with my point and shoot while driving down a gravel road in northern Missouri. Gravel roads...I used to hate them, but now I find them familiar. Strange how life has a way of bringing you back to places you thought you'd never want to be again.

This lighting was set up for a video test we did, and I grabbed my still camera to snap a couple quick shots. The goal was to allow for a very human element to be captured. Hopefully there's a sense of realism here.

Overlook Farm | Clarksville, MO

These images are from a recent trip to Clarksville, MO. I was happy to have the opportunity to tour and photograph a very old piece of land there named Overlook Farm. The land was gifted to the family who owns it by the King of Spain, long before Missouri was even a state. Clarksville was a welcomed change from the noise of the city, and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Carpenter GMC | Hwy 3

I passed this old bus on a two-lane blacktop headed back from Carbondale, IL.  It was abandoned and I loved the colors and golden patina. The sun seemed to be hitting it just right as I drove by, and I had to turn around and grab a few quick shots.  There were others, but the light in this one was my favorite.
